 Legendary R&B Singer Keith Sweat to Perform at Wind Creek Wetumpka Entertainment Center
 
(Wetumpka, AL) Wind Creek Casino & Hotel Wetumpka (WCW) will present Keith Sweat in concert in the newly completed Wind Creek Wetumpka Entertainment Center.  Show date is January 9th and begins at 8 pm.  Ticket prices start at forty-five dollars and are on sale November 27th at ticketmaster.com or Essentials inside the casino.
 
A renowned performer, recording artist, producer, Georgia Music Hall of Famer, Soul Train Awards Lifetime Achievement Recipient and father of four, Keith Sweat has more than two decades in the soul business.  Born in Harlem, New York, Sweat was discovered singing at a nightclub in 1987. In November of the same year, he released his debut album, Make It Last Forever, which sold more than three million copies. On the R&B charts, I Want Her hit #1 and the title track hit #2. His next album, I'll Give All My Love To You, hit #3 on the Billboard 200 chart, and Keep It Comin’ debuted in the Top 20 on the album charts.
                                                                                                                         
In addition to his work as singer, music producer and songwriter, Sweat is the host of the nationally syndicated radio program The Sweat Hotel. Heard Sundays through Fridays from 7 p.m. to midnight in all time zones, Sweat brings his quiet storm of R&B and slow jamz to audiences nationwide. Broadcasting live from Atlanta, he welcomes special guests and features live in-studio musical performances, while also encouraging fans to call in with their confessions, apologies and dedications.   
 

 
 
The Wind Creek Wetumpka Entertainment Center seats approximately 1,200 and is located adjacent to the WCW casino at 100 River Oaks Drive, Wetumpka.  The new structure is approximately 23,000 square feet and houses pre-function and concession areas, a green room and commercial kitchen.

The reservation is located eight miles northwest of Atmore, Alabama, in rural Escambia County, and 57 miles east of Mobile. 
The Poarch Creek Indians is the only federally recognized Indian Tribe in the state of Alabama, operating as a sovereign nation with its own system of government and bylaws.  The Tribe operates a variety of economic enterprises, which employ hundreds of area residents.
