The Elmore County Civic Improvement League is hosting a Juneteenth celebration on Saturday, June 18, 2022 in Wetumpka, Alabama. The event will consist of music, vendors, entertainment, cultural exhibits, and food in Gold Star Park (Meadowview Dr, Wetumpka, AL 36092). The keynote speaker will be Mr. Andre’ Jackson, Elmore County School District Director of Administrative Services. This opportunity will raise awareness and educate the community on the significance of Juneteenth and to honor the culture and achievements of African Americans.
